URS- Ureteroscopy is a type of minimally invasive intervention used to remove stones from the urinary tract. During this method, a slim instrument referred to as a ureteroscope is passed through the urethra and into the bladder and then up the ureter to the location of the stone. The ureteroscope is equipped with a tiny camera that enables the doctor to see the stone and any neighboring tissue. Subsequently, a laser or other surgical tool is utilized to break the stone into smaller pieces which can then be taken out through the ureteroscope.
